Do you take insurance?

Do you take Medicare/Medicaid?
No. Sorry, we are unable to take Medicare/Medicaid at present.
Do you see adult patients?
Yes. At present we see patients between the age of 18-65 for Psychiatric care.
What will my first appointment be like?
Our MDs will meet with the new patient (and family for younger patients) for an extended interview which will gather information on history, symptoms, family and social functioning. The first appointment will take approximately an hour. Once a diagnosis has been determined, we will discuss options with the patient and family and together develop a plan of care.
If available, please bring to your initial appointment:
- A complete medication list (including the name of the medication, dose, and frequency you take) or prescription bottles. Please include any over-the-counter medications you take as well.
- Your updated insurance card, your photo ID, and any payment.
- A list of medical conditions and medication allergies. If you have seen your primary care physician, recent notes and/or physical exam as well as the results of any recent lab work may also be beneficial.
- Previous treatment records that may be important for us. This would include hospitalization records, psychological testing results, therapy notes, previous treatment records, etc.
Refills are prescribed during scheduled appointments. Call today to book an appointment if you’re due for a refill. If you are a current patient and we cannot see you by the time you run out of medication, we require at least 48 hours notification to refill your prescription, called in at a local pharmacy.
Medications are only refilled during business hours. For after hour refill requests, you can either have your pharmacy request a refill from our office or visit our patient portal to request refill. We reserve the right to charge a nominal fee for the prescription refill requests without accompanying office visit.
What are your office hours?
This varies depending on your psychiatrist, but generally Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays. Phones are turned off 1 hour prior to the close of each business day in order allow time to return messages.
What if I am more than 10 minutes late?
We will need to reschedule your appointment. We value all of our patients time and reserve exclusive time slots for you. Please give us 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid being charged for no-show.
What if I have an emergency?
If the emergency presents a threat to the health of the patient, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
