At Alpha Psychiatric Associates, we have adopted a unique and specialized approach based on the Biopsychosocial Model for diagnostics to plan effective treatment. We also use the latest approved procedures to monitor the progress made by our clients. Such measures help us coordinate our treatment with our own clinicians as well as your other care providers. Your overall health is our goal. Using this detailed and thorough evaluation process, in alpha psychiatry, we search for the biological factors that are contributing to your problems such as health status, medications used, genetic predispositions, drug use, nutrition, and exercise patterns. We also explore the psychological factors such as unconscious influences, traumas, and “emotional sticking points” from the past. We analyze social and environmental forces such as work-related and family stress factors.

Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Kaplan has been serving North Carolina since 2019. He provides psychological testing and therapy to adults who are experiencing problems with attention, self-regulation, substance/alcohol dependence and interpersonal difficulties.
